Ships cross the worlds oceans moving people, goods and livestock. Stormy
seas, wars and pirates have sent many ships and their cargo to Davey
Jones' Locker an idiom for the resting place of stricken ships at
sea.

At the Shipwreck Centre you can relive the golden age of ships when sailors
struggled against stormy seas to deliver people and goods to their destination.
Learn about the history of lifeboats and see a multitude of seafering
artefacts including diving gear and paraphernalia, coinage from history
and hundreds of pictures and salvaged trinkets.
